I took someone to Reagan Airport and journeyed over to Nats Park because I was close and love day baseball. Some observations
Access and egress is OK but it took 1 hr 50 minutes to get home so therefore my visits will only be one of the 2 or 3 O’s games each year.
Parking is easy but pricing is insane. Ticket prices are high as well but I got mine at the last minute on Stub Hub. Compared to Oriole Park, the food is very weak and the prices are ridiculous. I could not find any kids pricing as at all.
Internet is much stronger then O’s Park. Ballpark has tremendous sight lines even when you are at the concession stands. Between inning entertainment gets a solid B. 25,000 there for a day game vs the Giants. Winning team for sure. Juan Soto is the real deal. BUT Bryce’s absence takes a lot of heat away from the game.
All in all a nice day , great team, but the experience is way overpriced.
As expected the Warriors bounced back without Cousins and destroyed the Clippers.
Caps lose Game 4 to Carolina and TJ Oshie suffered a potential season ending cheap shot injury that could wind up costing the Caps a chance to repeat.
Somehow or another the Terps Mens Lax are an undisputed #2 team in the nation yet only #7 in RPI —absurd. Time to get revenge on last season’s Ohio State loss at Maryland Stadium.
