Yes the above is true. After PennState defeated Michigan State on the road, the Terps climbed into 1st.
The tie will not be for long as the Terps face the Illini with 1st place on the line Friday night.
After getting off to a horrible offensive start the Terps trailed 25-20 at half time.
But Stix, Anthony and Darryl Morsell led the charge in the 2nd half. With the score tied at 49, Cowan landed 3 foul shots to give the Terps a lead that lead to victory.
Stix, now a favorite foe Big 10 POY. scored 14 points, with rebounds, and 6 blocks. Absolutely incredible.
