Highs and lows of Weekend–Here We Go—BP

–Unbelievable gut wrenching loss for the Terps Sat 27-24. To begin with Taulia and Chance Campbell contracted Covid before a must win game against Rutgers. After backup QB Lance Legendre was basically ineffective, rarely used 3rd String QB Eric Najarian came in and performed very well. Cut to the chase, the Terps had this game won 5 times but could not close the deal. 11 penalties in inopportune times, a dropped TD pass, a few tough overturned calls, and whatever else you could imagine brought the Terps down in OT. I have to mention a spectacular performance by rush end/ LB Durell Nchami–wow caused 2 fumbles on 2 sacks and more.

– Crossover game for the Terps became a divisional one as the Terps will battle Michigam State Sat night at College Park in an attempt to finish the season 3-3 and advance to a Bowl Game.

-The former undefeated Steelers got whomped by Buffalo Sunday as Stefon Diggs had 10 catches for 130 yds and 1 TD. Pitt now trails KC for the bye.

–Give credit where credit is due as Washington defeated the 49ers led by the magnificent Buckeye, Chase Young. Sadly Alex Smith left the game with a calf sprain.injured.

–Ohio State convinced the Big Ten to bend the rules and play in the Conference Championship. However, the Buckeyes are clearly the Big 10″s best.

–The Eagles finally start Jalen Hurts and guess what, an easy win over the Saints. Jalen was great rushing for 106 yards.

–I watched LaMelo Ball Saturday night and he might be the most exciting passer to come to the NBA in a long time. Stix made his debut for Phoenix, played 15 minutes with 2 rebounds and and 5 points.

–Finally, the Cleveland baseball has dropped the Indians team name according to the New York times.

–In games that effect the Ravens, the Dolphins and Raiders lost, the Colts and Titans won, but it’s all about tonight in Cleveland.

–The Terps after an embarrassing loss to Clemson, begin the Conference season tonight against Rutgers. The Terps are a 2 point favorite. Tipoff is 6PM creating a great TV doubleheader. Yes I will eat dinner early.

- And Finally watch this
