Greivis Responds with a deuce–then commits his 2nd foul—Hayes Returns
Jordan a 3 pt play 17-9 Nova full court press –Nova barely gets timeout in
Mosley steals inbouns pass–layup–17-11 Could Nova have problems with the press?
Terps cant get rhythm going –miss Greivis–it is early 22-11 —11 minutes left
Nova opens up hitting btheir first 3 threes 9-3 Nova—-
So far the speed and quickness of Nova must be dealt with by the Terps—-Greivis splits 2 foul shots 9-4 Nova after first break 16 minutes to go
Jay Wright said it best–that Gary seems to have his team prepared early maybe better thenn anyone in the country. The problem is how does Maryland slow down the Nova guards. Only be dominating the boards. Everyone must rebound on Sunday. Control the boards, Greivis has a big game, Eric hits 2 or 3 long range 3s–Maryland can win. I can’t wait for this one. Also this is the last game the Terps play without Dino.
What a fantastic game!! I wonder if Jamarr can run the triple option. The way Tech ran it, it almost seemed unstoppable. Georgia Tech was also playing with a makeshift offensive line. To me however CJ Spiller was the story of the game. 4 TDs –over 200 yards rushing –and he did this all while hobbling with a turf toe!!! Here’s my Heisman opinions:

I only mention this game for one reason —Kentucky’s Freshman Guard John Wall is clearly the best guard in the country. Put him down as the #1 NBA pick today. If Calipari can’t win the title with this team, he should be immediatedly dismissed. Gary would never win by less then 20 with this cast.

Located at the intersection of Gwynns Falls parkway and Warwick Ave, the arena is 100% state of the art. However Morgan’s Reggie Holmes ruined the debut turning in a 24 point performance, hitting a myriad of shots. Morgan State moved to 5-3 for the year including a road win win at Arkansas.

Maryland (6-1, 1-0 ACC) dominated from the beginning, winning all ten matches. “It feels good to win this way after they beat us last year,” said head coach Kerry McCoy. “We’re doing the right things and … Read More »
