KatieToday’s game convinced me that Katie O’Donnell is certainly the greatest the greatest Field Hockey player that I have ever seen and probably the best that ever played for Maryland. In a day filled with records, junior Katie O’Donnell broke Read More »

I keep hearing rebuilding but I haven’t seen any evidence that this team has any major deficiencies. Once Dara Taylor entered this game it was over and done. She is a pleasure to watch–quick, smooth, great court vision and court sense. Also, Tianna Hawkins is a prime time player. However , I anxiously await to see how the see responds when they go up against a ranked team. All in all, a great start for both basketball teams.

Manny Pacquiao gained his 7th Title tonight in las Vegas, when he annihilated a bigger Miquel Cotto.  Cotto’s face was a bloody mess by the end of the fight. So now the buzz starts—Pacman vs the Money man in Dallas. Pacquiao is another smaller guy to fight up to Mayweather, but the public will demand it. Who is the key guy behind Pacquiao—Freddy Roach.

Even though the Terrapins are such heavy underdogs, I still expect a close game today. The place will be rocking as it will be the first Sellout of the year. The turnovers must be kept to maximum 1 and penalties to 3 or 4. If the Terps stumble in these areas, it might get unpleasant. One day Maryland will get to run up the score on Frank Beamer and that day will be named Payback Day.

Jordan Williams continues his strong aggressive play.  With 3 minutes to go the Terps are up 33-21. We have seen an even distribution of scoring as the assists and strong rebounding are a great sight to behold.

Jordan Williams is the story so far scoring 10 as the Terps go into halftime up by 12.

10 minutes to go Terps up 18-10  —Sean Mosley has 6 points–2 jumpers and a flying stuff. Ex NBA scout Paul Baker just told me that Sean has all the attributes of a guy who can play at the next level.
