Vernon Davis had 10 catches for 102 yards for the 49ers.
Shawne Merriman had 2 4th quarter sacks to help San Diego to a victory over the Giants.
Josh Wilson had a 61 interception TD run fo rthe Seahawks to clinch their victory.
For 13 years or so, Matt Stover barely missed a big FG. His replacement has now missed 2 although to blame this game on him would be totally unfair. The offense was pathetic for 3 quarters.#5 did not have one of his better days.
The game was so boring it was hard to watch.

When you watch the Phoenix Suns run their offense you can see the difference in having a tremendous playmaker on the team. Steve Nash gets everyone involved, there is no 1 on1 or standing around. Andray Blatche again played some excellent basketball scoring 20 points. He has made a great turnaround. The Wizards sorely miss Mike Miller and Antawn during this tough opening stretch.
Yes the Terrapins won again but this time it was very difficult and definitely more dramatic. The Ravens stand at 4-3 today. Why is this is a must game? A loss to Cincinnati would leave the Terps at 4-4 with brutal games remaining against Pittsburgh (2) , Indy, Green Bay on the road. The Ravens will be fortunate to go 2-2 in thes 4 games. That would leave them at 10-6. With the wat Pitt and Cinci are palying , I doubt if one of these teams will get the wild Card.

This great Terrapin team will mostly be judged by its next 5 games. First up is UVA today for the ACC Title. The game begins at noon and should be on Verizon Fios Channel 300 (Fox SC Atlanta) The Terps have been #1 virtually the entire season and come into the game 19-0.
