Well it wasn’t pretty or titanic, Matt Wieters first home run was a wind blown opposite field fly that just cleared the wall to give the O’s a 3-1 lead. Later in the 7th with the score tied at 4 Aubrey Huff went deep to give the O’s the W. In Bowie rookie phenom Brian Matusz threw 6 innings of shutout ball.

Marah Strickland takes her 2 years of eligibility left and bolts for South Carolina to play for the legendary Dawn Staley.  Marah under NCAA rules will have to sit out this season.
