the Washington Post reports the following:

“Pete DeSouza, a former All-Met from DeMatha and the starting right tackle at Maryland, suffered non-life threatening injuries in a campus scooter accident Thursday night, Maryland spokesperson Shawn Nestor said. According to a release issued by Maryland late Thursday, DeSouza was operating a motor scooter traveling westbound on Campus Drive when a motorist turned left in front of DeSouza. I have to admit when I heard Nick was going to Villanova for Midnite Madness, I started to worry a little. take that back–a lot. But Nick decided to come to College park last Friday night with his potential running mate Sterling Gibbs. Last night on Terp Talk, keith reiterated that Faust will be a Terp. I will be glad when the process is over supposedly next Thursday October 28th.

I don’t know the final but who cares. this game was over 5 minutes into the game. oregon possesses the most prolific offense I have ever seen in College Ball. UCLA Coach Rick Neuheisel looked like the infamous deer in the headlights. he had absolutely no clue on how to stop the juggernaut. Oklahoma #1—that’s a joke. The Ducks are clearly the best in the land!!!

It is great to see Aubrey Huff–ex-Oriole– helping to lead the Giants to a World Series berth. Buster Posey had 4 hits and set up the winning run with a line single to right to move Huff to third. The Giants can close out the Phillies behind their ace Tim Lincecum who will have to face Halladay.

I anxiously await watching the high powered offense of the Terrapins now under the Tillman regime take the field tonight. The trio of Travis Reed, Grant catalino, and Ryan Young enter their 4th season together as the attack unit for the Terps. I will report on the game tomorrow.

Katie O’Donnell scored twice and assisted on a third goal as the Terps eased past #7 American U 3-0. Next up for the Terps is #1 North Carolina Saturday at 1PM at College Park.
