Kobe is still the GUY in the NBA. The only X factor that could derail a 2nd straight Laker title is the quirkiness of Ron Artest. I would like to see the Cavs take it for Antawn Jamison’s sake. He is a class act and served the Wizards well. But truthfully, I don’t care all that much.

– Head coach Cathy Reese captured her 100th career win Saturday as No. 3 Maryland routed Virginia Tech, 18-4, to secure a share of the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season title.

Maryland (14-1, 4-1 ACC) picked up scoring from 10 different players on the day, led by four goals from Karri Ellen Johnson and three from Sarah Mollison, to help Reese, who is in her fourth season at the helm of the Terp program, accomplish the milestone.

This morning Terrapin Coach revealed that Will Yeatman will suit up and play for the Terps today. Right now Army is up 7-6 with 4 minutes left in the game.  I guess we are all waiting to see if there are any surprises tonight from eiter side.
