Maryland announced on May 26, that sophomore guard Serrel Smith Jr. will be transferring this offseason. Smith Jr. spent the past two seasons with the Terps, and has two years of eligibility left. Although, he would need a waiver from the NCAA in order to play in this upcoming season.

AJ Green has 16 catches of 20+ yards already. Cam Newton will get a ton of credit for his first 6 games, despite being pretty bad in his last 4. First things first.  I think it will be a big mistake if the Phillies don’t start Pedro Martinez in Game 2.  The reasons.  One Pedro is a big game pitcher who won’t be in awe pitching on the road at Yankee Stadium.  I don’t think it’s a good idea pitching lefties, Lee and Hamels back to back.  It gives the Yankees an advantage seeing pitchers throwing from basically the same angle back to back.  You want to change the eye level of the … Read More »
