Santana has only appeared in 21 games since 2010. Should he eventually make the major league roster of the O’s , he would earn 3 million. A risk well worth the upside.

Maryland (4-0) — A big ACC game in a big stadium featured 5,055 fans in Byrd Stadium (54,000 capacity), a very good crowd but not the atmosphere of Klockner’s identical 5,000 later on Saturday night. The look on Stan Goldstein’s face says all you need to know. Stan goes to almost all the road games and the blank look on his face says this can’t be happening again. But it is and it did. Both teams missed so many opportunities to win it’s hard to imagine.
