Ravens coach John Harbaugh will be inducted into the “Cradle of Coaches” association at his alma mater Miami (Ohio) University next year.
Harbaugh’s team won the Super Bowl, beating his brother Jim’s San Francisco 49ers 34-31 for the Ravens’ second NFL title. He graduated from the southwest Ohio school in 1984.

Sophomore center fielder Charlie White has earned National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) National Hitter of the Week honors for his performance against Oakland this past weekend, the association announced Tuesday.
For White, the award comes a day after the sophomore was named Louisville Slugger’s National Players of the Week by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week.
