It’s a sad for Oriole Nation . Believe me after my excursion to FanFest today –Oriole Nation is alive and strong as thousands turned out for the event. Buck Showalter spoke passionately about how much Earl was respected in baseball circles. He regaled about how happy Earl was about the resurgence of Oriole baseball last year.

I was at Comcast for the matches last night and it was exciting to see the Terps storm from behind to take a 18-16 lead with wins by Josh Asper, Jimmy Sheptock, Christian Boland, and Shane Gentry only to lose on a final pin in the final match. Great effort by the Terps however.

I am starting to worry about this team. 50 or so points in 3 straight games. It’s not going to get the job done. 21 turnovers? 3-21 –8 points–2 assists and 11 turnovers from our 4 guards. Here is the problem–it is going to be difficult to win on the road scoring only 50. And at home, 50 will not always get the job done. We must find a way to make some outside shots.
