Sometimes there are pivotal moments in a franchise’s history. Last Sunday many people asked me why I wasn’t so upset when we lost to the Steelers. My response was that no Ravens loss could ever equal the way I felt when Evans dropped the ball against the Patriots. After that everything is secondary. The Ravens will make the playoffs this year and have a chance to get to the promised land so a few losses won’t destroy the hope.

University of Maryland sophomore wrestler Geoffrey Alexander was selected Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestler of the Week after winning two matches over the weekend in a pair of dual meets, the league announced Tuesday.
In his hometown of Pittsburgh on Friday, Alexander, ranked 11th nationally at 133 pounds, continued his strong start to the season with a 3-2 decision over then-No. 6 Shelton Mack. It is Alexander’s third win in four tries against a nationally-ranked opponent.
Alyssa Thomas had 23 points and 13 rebounds, and Katie Rutan added a season-high 16 points to lead No. 10 Maryland to an 88-43 win at Towson on Tuesday night.Tianna Hawkins added 14 points and Alicia DeVaughn 12 for the Terrapins (7-2), who led by as many as 49 in the second half. Just some of my thoughts on the end of the 5 Year Tenure of Harbaugh’s Good friend Cam Cameron:
I just watched the press conference and find it hard to believe that this was Coach Harbaugh’s decision on his own. He was visibly shaken up over letting his good buddy go. The Harbaugh families are fiercely loyal and in any shape or form this was a brutal decision for John.
