OKC is just not ready for prime time. You have to lose before you win so they say in the NBA. Despite a tremendous 20-32 shooting performance from Russell Westbrook, OKC got little or no contribution from anyone other then KD. James Harden was 2-10 and missed 4 wide open threes. Maryland coach Randy Edsall has never downplayed the significance of landing players from Gilman, Good Counsel and Friendship Collegiate Academy in the Terps’ 2012 recruiting class.

Iliana Sanza and Katie Schwarzmann were named Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association National Defender and Midfielder of the Year, respectively, on Saturday.
Sanza, the 2012 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, helped the unit limit opponents to a mere 8.00 goals per game this season. The junior from Cockeysville, Md., tallied a team-high 46 ground balls and 33 caused turnovers in 2012. She was also tabbed to the NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team as Maryland advanced to its fourth consecutive semifinal.
