It’s a sad day for the Horse racing industry. Early signs of tendonitis in the left knee have persuaded the trainers and owner of the Derby and Preakness winner to end the racing career of I’ll Have Another. A hard race at a 1 1/2 miles would create too much of a risk for the horse to incur a life threatening injury.

Youth over experience rarely happens in the NBA playoffs. But it does when your young guns are led by the best finisher in the game today, Kevin Durant. Stu Vetter, Durant’s high school coach at Montrose Christian, is smiling tonight. In a losing effort Stephen Jackson for San Antonio was fantastic hitting 6 threes and solely keeping the Spurs in the game as OKC made its run. Just a feel good story —-so far.
