On the recruiting trail, apparently Gary made a strong impression on Lake Clifton’s Will Barton on an in school visit last week. The Terrapins continue to go after Florida de-commit DeShawn Painter, who would be available in 2009. Landon Milbourne has surgery on his foot today and is expected to make a quick recovery.

According to Adam Zagoria, Lance Stephenson has all but ruled out St Johns, thinks Gary’s system is too structured, and seems to be waiting for a call from Memphis program wrecker, Coach Calipari. Too structured–has Lance or Zagoria ever watched Greivis?  Full court pressure and fast breaking at every opportunity—that is a structured system? Lance wakeup, commit to the Terps already!!!

Stu commented that Ross is getting better day by day. When I saw him at a game at Montrose late in the year, I was immediately impressed  by his gracefulness in playing the game. The sky is the limit for Ross. With another year under the tutelage … Read More »

From Trans World News comes the news that X has canceled his trip to Kentucky. Why does a Terrapin fan care about this? Kansas coach Bill Self threatened that if X took an official visit to Kentucky then he was off the Jayhawk want list. Expect Xavier to commit to Kansas within 48 hours. That leaves lance with his decision that I have gone over enough. Logic says he comes to Maryland , but we shall see.
