The speculatiion ends today at 11:45 AM in Miami, when Lance finally announces whether he will be attending St John’s, Kansas, or Maryland. Most recruiting gurus are predicting it will be Kansas. For the life of me, I just don’t understand how a supposed one and done guy wants to play in an offense that will be run by Sherron Collins, an All American point guard. It’s not too late Lance, Wake up –Bill Self or Gary Williams? Take the … Read More »
Unless things change, Lance Stephenson will announce his College selection Tuesday morning at 11:45 at a Miami Beach Press Conference. In other recruiting news Seth Curry announced his transfer to Duke Sunday. The younger brother of Stephon will have to sit out the 09-10 season. I anxiously await the Charm City Classic next Sunday at 5 at the Towson Center, where Maryland’s 2 2009 recruits Jordan Williams and James Padgett will make their local area debut since committing to Maryland.
Sherron Collins announced Saturday that he is returning to Kansas next year. Combine that fact with the fact that Gary Williams flew to New York Saturday (zagsblog.com) to watch Lance and James Padgett play their last game for Lincoln High, who went down to defeat to Rice High. I have said it before this is not done until Born Ready makes the announcement on Tuesday, but if you are reading this Lance, Sherrod Collins demands the ball, not … Read More »
If you missed the show tonight, please come back in a few days and listen to the podcast of the interview. This is one great kid. Humble, thinking only of his role on the team and yes 6’10” tall and able to shatter backboards. Jordan is a great find by Coach Williams. Go to see him at the Charm City Challenge April 5 5PM at the Towson Center. When I asked what the deciding factors for him to attend Maryland, … Read More »
Tell me why Henderson and Jon Sheyer combine for 4-34 against Villanova but shoot lights out against Maryland(well kinda).Duke lost 77-54–Unbelievable. The ACC is down to North Carolina in the Men’s Tourney and just Maryland in the Lady’s. For all the Memphis fans who attacked the site, maybe I was right when I said you can’t continue to play a creampuff schedule like Calipari does Eventually this will comeback to haunt you. Naturally Memphis picks its best shooting game to … Read More »

The last time we spoke, I had reported that the Kansas decision was a done deal. Not according to the blog on Coast to Coast Recruiting that states inside info has him going to Maryland. The decision is set for March 31 at 11:45 in Miami. Who knows where this will lead?
With or without Lance, this team is in excellent shape should Greivis return for his Senior year. Jordan Williams, James Padgett, Dino Gregory, and perhaps Goins or Braxton will provide the Terrapins with frontcourt depth they haven’t had in years.
Remember this year’s team surpassed the performance of james Gist and bambale Osby’s team.
How great will Sean Mosley be after a summer’s worth of work on his offense. Sean has proven to be the toughest scrappiest player to wear … Read More »
