Maryland men’s lacrosse senior attackman Matt Rambo has earned the Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award for the nation’s most outstanding player as announced today by the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. Additionally, senior attackman Tim Muller earned the William C. Schmeisser Award for the nation’s most outstanding defensive player. Rambo is just the fourth player in Maryland history to win the Enners Award, joining Brian Dougherty (1995), Frank Urso (1975) and Doug Schreiber (1973).

My take: for those of you who listen regularly to Terp Talk, I was not providing any untruths as to I felt about the game with Albany. I fully expected a 1 or 2 goal game, with the Terps eeking out a victory. Remember Maryland only defeated Albany by 1 goal, 12-11 on April 12. But:
