After leading the Maryland women’s lacrosse team to its second straight NCAA Championship, head coach Cathy Reese was named IWLCA National Coach of the Year Monday.
Reese, who also earned national coach of the year honors in 2010 and 2014, led the Terrapins to a 21-1 overall record. Maryland posted a 5-0 conference record in the inaugural season of Big Ten lacrosse and also took home the regular season conference championship.
