What a spectacular day for Maryland Lacrosse:
You know what I believe is one of the biggest weapons for Hopkins—that Band. Every time Hopkins scores the song and count rubs into my soul.
In my mind the 2 best teams were on the field for the nightcap. I thought that Maryland was loose as a goose and Hopkins was wound up a bit too tight in the warmups.

It was the rematch many Maryland fans wanted. A win on Saturday by the Terps over the Blue Jays would probably mean more than winning the first Trophy game. Five seems to be a magic number for Maryland lacrosse in 2015 – at least when it comes to finding All-Americans on a Terrapins’ roster. Five women’s players were recently named ICLWA All-Americans and five men’s players joined them when the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced it men’s All-American teams Thursday afternoon.

When the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Tournament bracket was released at the beginning of May, it’s likely that Maryland fans circled May, 23rd on their calendars with either relish or angst. The reason: A (possibly unlikely) pair of wins by Maryland coupled with a (possibly unlikely) pair of wins by Johns Hopkins would set up a rematch of the April 25th game that Hopkins won 15-12 on the Terrapins’ home field.
