Zach Randolph is quickly becoming the best big man in the game. Was Kendrick Perkins even in uniform? Greivis is proving why he won the Cousy Award for best point guard in college last year. His play has been flawless as far as turnovers are concerned. Playing behind Conley has halped mature Greivis’ game.
Does Drew Rosenhaus ever not have a prime players in the NFK Draft? There were the Ravens poised to take the “controversial” Jimmy Smith with their 1st pick. This was of course after the Ravens Bears trade fell through. So the question begs to be asked Did the Ravens really want Jimmy Smith?

The Ravens have the best kickoff guy in the league, but today a new rule was put in place allowing kickoofs from the 35 yard line intead of the 30. PoooooooooooFFFFFFF there goes that edge. But what gets me is why did the Ravens vote for the change?
Right now the Ravens have the rights to the following WR’s under the current CBA:
Anquan Boldin, 6′1″ 217 in his 8th year out of Florida State
Derrick Mason, 5′10″ 197 in his 14th year out of Michigan State
David Reed, 6′0″ 190 in his 1st year out of Utah
Marcus Smith, 6′1″ 225 in his 3rd year out of New Mexico
Justin Harper, 6′3″ 226 in his 3rd year out of Virginia Tech

Yesterday the Ravens re-signed FB Jason McKie. He was signed by the Ravens right before the week 13 home game against Pittsburgh, when Le’Ron McLain sat out with an ankle injury he suffered the prior week against Tampa Bay. McKie was eventually waived in January. He was an undrafted free agent, who’s been in the league since 2002, having spent the bulk of his career (7 years) with the Chicago Bears. He was the starting fullback for the Bears in … Read More »
This should have been the Ravens year but the Ravens are at home watching like we will. Quickly my take on the game:
Pittsburgh’s defense is better then Green Bays–Green Bay ran over some weak teams
Big Ben is 10-2 postseason but more important 2-0 in the Super Bowl. This is Rodgers 1st. Look for jitters.
James Harrison vs Clay Matthews—Give me a break Harrison will disrupt the Green bay offense.
Ben is 4-0 against Dom Caper defenses

It is unbelievable how one play can mean so much. We all know what play I am talking about. It was the play that gave the Steelers the Division title. The play that gave Pittsburgh the bye week. And On and on and on–until the ultimate. It still sickens me.
Former Ravens coach Brian Billick, who was the Fox analyst for the Pro Bowl, talked about Lewis, saying, “One of the most unbelievable players I’ve ever been around in my career. The Ray Lewis that you see on Sunday – the passion, the energy, the intensity – that’s the Ray Lewis you get every day in meetings and in practice.” from the Sun
