The Chesapeake Bayhawks got out to a 7-1 first quarter lead against the Charlotte Hounds and never relented on the way to their 15-7 route Saturday evening.
Both John Grant Jr. and Drew Westervelt had circus goals in the second quarter. Grant’s goal was a flip behind his back while Westervelt took a one hand shot after he was knocked to the ground in front of the Hound’s goal. Both were unassisted.

The only chance for the Celtics tonight is if Rondo can penetrate and score like he did in Game 2. But something tells me that LeBron definitively arrived Thursday night. With Bosh back to serious PT the old age of the Celtics will be exposed and the Heat will move on to what should a classic matchup vs OKC.

LeBron was simply perfect befitting the superstar status he enjoys. Game 7 is Saturday in South Beach. Here’s hoping for a Miami victory to further upset Red Sox Nation. A Miami OKC final could be a classic.
It was packed last night at the Greene Turtle in Hunt Valley as the Terrapin Club members in Baltimore were treated to a night with Mark Turgeon, Randy Edsall, and Sasho Cirovski.
Youth over experience rarely happens in the NBA playoffs. But it does when your young guns are led by the best finisher in the game today, Kevin Durant. Stu Vetter, Durant’s high school coach at Montrose Christian, is smiling tonight. In a losing effort Stephen Jackson for San Antonio was fantastic hitting 6 threes and solely keeping the Spurs in the game as OKC made its run. Just a feel good story —-so far.
