“At Madison Square Garden on November 15, Kentucky beat Kansas 75-65. At half- time, the score was 28-28. It may or may not have been too early to call it a barometer on this potential match-up in April, but afterwards, winning coach John Calipari said, “We’re not a good team yet. We’ve got good players, but we broke off every play.” Fast forwarding, they are now known for sharing the ball nicely. “Really, really, really tal- … Read More »
UVA was up 2-0 today when Terp middie John Haus fired in a shot from the left side. (In my opinion) way after the shot left his stick a Virginia defender delivered what seemed to be a late cheap shot to John–helmet to head. The penalty a one minute releaseable foul. Korey Wacker went 2-for-4 with two runs, David Carroll held Boston College to one run in eight innings and Maryland defeated the Eagles 7-1 Saturday afternoon.
Wacker was the ultimate utility man for the Terps (18-11, 3-9 ACC), tallying two hits, two runs, two stolen bases and an RBI before coming on to pitch in the ninth inning. The all-around effort proved critical in helping Maryland take the third and final game of the series.
18 points, 14 rebound, 5 blocks–need I say anymore. A great effort by Louisville fell 8 points short as Anthony Davis showed why he is far and away the best college player in the USA. Oh yea, the 2nd best is Kidd Gilchrist.
OSU basically collapsed in the 2nd half losing a 13 point lead and basically chucking up ill advised 3 after 3.Kansas might have had a great tournament so far but it all ends Monday night as Calipari … Read More »
I hope he comes to Maryland. Enough said.
