My only comment is that LA disgraced themselves with their flagrant fouls when the game was out of reach.

I trust our AD to make the right call.
That being said I believe Maryland is A BIG TIME PROGRAM AND DESERVES A BIG TIME COACH!!!! WE NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS BEATEN BIG TIME OPPONENTS ON A REGULAR BASIS.
This hire is SOOOOOOOOO important to Terrapin Nation. I originally liked the idea of Sean Miller because I thought he wanted the job so much. I want someone who is dieing for the role. Someone who loves and understands Maryland … Read More »
The hunt goes on. I guess when you try to hire someone who is already making 1-2 million a year, you better have 3 or 4 guys ready as backups. At this moment -that is 1AM Monday morning perhaps the field looks like the following:
John Lucas– a late entry who has coached on many levels and of course is the accomplished point guard for the Terps under Lefty—longshot
Mike Brey -Coach of the Regular season Big East champion Notre … Read More »
Utterly ridiculous. For the 3rd time this season the Terps will face the Tar Heels. The winner gets the honor of playing Syracuse. Why would the committee pit 2 ACC teams after they have played each other twice. Idiotic!!!! Furthermore how does UVA receive a 7 seed? Maryland destroyed them in Charlottesville and then won the ACC Tourney against Duke who vanquished the Hoos. The committee definitelt was out to nail the Terps. Sorry that’s my take and I am … Read More »
Mark Turgeon, Texas A&M: Turgeon played at Kansas. He fully understands what it’s like to be at a basketball-crazed school. He coached at one in Wichita State. He would enjoy being at a basketball-first school like Maryland. He has done a wonderful job keeping the Aggies relevant in the Big 12 and A&M will again be in the mix in the conference title race next season. But would Turgeon be the choice for Anderson? That’s still an unknown. As one … Read More »

North Carolina overcame a 4-3 deficit with two outs in the bottom of the ninth on Greg Holt’s RBI double, and Ben Bunting’s infield single with the bases loaded in the 10th lifted the No. 18 Tar Heels to a 5-4 comeback win over Maryland Saturday afternoon. The Terps had erased a 3-0 deficit on Michael Montville’s three-run home run in the seventh inning and edged ahead when Jake Stinnett drew a bases-loaded walk in the eighth.Left-handed reliever Jimmy Reed cruised … Read More »

The Terps are in trouble. With 130 left Colgate has the ball and the lead. Here we go. Colgate scores again 10-8. I wonder how this will effect seeding. 56 seconds left A piper forthe Terps. A save and that will do it. This loss could send the Terps on the road for the first game of the tourney.
Colgate throws it away —Terps ball.
Save by Colgate–save by the Terps
7 minutes left Terps ball–shot by LaRue saved by Goalie Madison his 11th of the game– 5 minutes left Colgate scores—Rob Bosco again
Dan Burns comes up with loose ball–Owen Blye ties it up unassisted
Crucial face off—Colgate ball—3minutes left timeout Raiders
