Kevin Durant entered the NBA by way of Montrose Christian through Texas. 3 years ago, Stu Vetter told me that Kevin will turn out to be one of the NBA’s most prolific scorer. Last night was the first time I ever saw Kevin live. He was utterly amazing, scoring over 30  points in less then 3 quarters.

The Maryland women’s basketball team earned a No. 4 seed in the 2011 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament the Women’s Basketball Committee announced Monday night. The Terrapins will tip off with 13th-seeded St. Francis (Pa.) Sunday at 12:20 p.m. in Comcast Center. Tickets to Sunday’s game, as well as tickets to all sessions, are available at umterps.com. I am not a big Virginia Tech fan. I am not a big Seth Greenberg fan. However when a team is 11-8 in conference play with a victory over Duke, it should be included in the big dance, I know if it was Maryland, I would be screaming. I wonder what the Commissioner will have to say.

Commisssioner Swofford seems only to be concerned about taking taking care of his beloved Carolina teams. I am making no excuses for the team’s record this season, but let me ask some questions
