In a year of getting chances to prove itself the Terps get one more Friday night.  The Terrapins had Duke on the ropes at Durham and then only a miraculous game from Kyle Singler saved the Blue Devils at College Park. Maryland is a caged lion backed into the corner of the cage. Stay with the Devils . Don’t have to mount a crazy rally. Cliff Tucker come alive it’s your redemption chance. One game, one win can wash away … Read More »

JUSTIN ANDERSON…..ESPN PLAYER EVALUATIONS Strengths: Anderson continues to impress with his god given off the charts athletic ability. His body is a work of art as he excels on the break. When he is aggressive and attacking there is not much a defender can do because Anderson can make a play from 15 feet and in over or around anyone on the perimeter. He is a lefty that can make plays in the lane and if he gets close to … Read More »

Who will Gary start? My guess is PeShon and Terrell in the backcourt, with Sean or the Hawk, Dino and Jordan. Tucker and Bowie will get their chances but Gary has to ahve a quick hook. Salvation of the season is still possible but we need 4 wins,  Period

Is this team capable of a run. Yes but the fact that the lead guy  wouid have to be a freshman makes the run doubtful’

Patrick Stevens reports in the Wash Times: Note it’s great that Patrick and the Times have reunited. He is one of the most dedicated journalists I have met:

Maryland forward Jordan Williams said he has not put any consideration into his pro prospects as his sophomore season has wound to a close. Williams, who was named to the all-ACC first team on Monday, is averaging 16.9 points and a league-best 11.6 rebounds. “I’m not even thinking about that,” Williams said. “I’m just … Read More »

There is an unwritten rule in lacrosse for one time never to cross the 20 goal threshhold when stomping another team. Cathy Reese’s #1 lady Terps were leading 17-0 at halftime. Not wanting to embarrass anyone Cathy put the reigns on her squad. Total domination by the defending NCAA Champs.
