Kyle Singler was too much for the Terps tonight. It’s funny but until Duke made its title run Singler was virtually not anywhere to be seen in the mock drafts. But now, with another year under his belt Kyle’s stock is through the roof. Again the bench for Duke did us in. Dawkins and Curry were a combined6-12 with 5-9 from the 3 point line. As I write Cliff just hit a 3 only to be matched by Singler’s 3. Stoglin, Hawk now in the game as Singler scores again–Duke is back up by 14. Vernon Davis is in the house as well as Dennis and Cristo Koulatsis. Terps need to start rally soon, though still lots of time. Hawk hits a 3. Singler answers. The place is electric. Duke received its usual reception from the students who were here when I arrived at 7PM. Bowie, Tucker and Dino are especially wired up this being their last game against Duke at Comcast. Dave Neal is on the bench watching warmups. I am sure Greivis’ heart is here somewhere. David Alridge is in the house–is there a game he ever misses? The noise from the student body is overwhelming.
