This is what I vividly remember about the great George Blanda. Former University of Maryland men’s lacrosse All-Americans Bill McGloneand Joe Walters helped Team USA win the inaugural Bowhunter Cup, 13-11, over the Iroquois Nationals Saturday night in Syracuse.McGlone, who was a two-time first team All-America midfielder for the Terps, scored three goals in the win, including the game-winner on a jumping shot on the crease with 9:20 left in the fourth quarter. from umterps.com

Observations of a pretty good and quick game.

#5 returned to the NFL yesterday throwing for 250 yards and 3 TD passes to Anquan Boldin. Luck was on Joe’s side as his first pass should have picked off for 6 except the Browns DB was probably in shock that the ball was thrown right to him. Joe was sharp and his 3rd TD pass was a thing of beauty.
