I went to the O’s game last night. Good effort in a losing battle. Some thoughts:
Where have you gone Corey Patterson? Buck must have seen some of the blunders.
I like how Buck stays withe starters much longer. Part of the reason the O’s always have a September swoon is because the bullpen is just finished.
Matt Wieters looked great at bat in his last 2 trips.

I was watching the Golf Channel yesterday and the host just torched Bubba Watson’s decision making on the 18th hole allowing his opponent to win.

I have certainly read some great things about Maryland’s new Chief in the past 24 hours. His academic background is incredible. According to a brief interview he had with Keith and terrapintimes.com , it sure seems like he respects the tradition athletics has played in the growth of the University. Should be much more on this in the coming days.
Over the last two days, three members of the Maryland Terrapins were placed on watch lists for postseason football awards. The Terps may have one of their best linebacker corps in recent memory and the Butkus Award selection committee agreed as seniors Adrian Moten and Alex Wujciak were placed on the preseason watch list Monday.
