There was no more fitting way for Senior Day to end for the No. 3 University of Maryland men’s lacrosse team than with senior Fran Gormley scoring the final goal of the Terps’ 17-4 rout of Fairfield on Saturday afternoon at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. Kobe was too hot to handle last night but it was Pao Gasol on a put back that ended KD and the Thunder’s dream of an upset. The Nuggets reverted to their old reckless style of basketball amd basically fouled themselves into defeat.
I have grown tired of watching Floyd Mayweather fight a succession of guys who were half his size. Not tonight–Sugar Shane Mosley is his opponent and there will be no walkover tonight. At least Mosley is his size but “Money ” is still a big favorite.

Nothing like a victory to bring optimism back to the ballpark. All is right with the O’s for one night. Please don’y ever criticize Oriole fans as 30,600 showed up last night to see a 4-18 team. Okay maybe there were 7000 Sox fand present but still agreat crowd. Tejada had quite a game. He tied the game in the 8th with a 2 out solo dinger. Then Tejada got the game winning hit in the 10th.
