Due to ongoing foot injuries, Junior Forward Jerome Burney will miss the entire season. “Jerome is very much a part of this team even though he won’t be playing this year,” said Coach Williams. “We feel badly for Jerome that he never had the chance to be the college basketball player we all felt he could be because of his injuries.” Jerome is on track to graduate May 2010.

Chris Turner must turn his game around after his worst performance as a Terp and stay away from DeAndre McDaniel
Cut the turnovers to 0 even if we have to play a more conservative game.
Stop the ridiculous penalties
Probably a special teams touchdown from Torrey or Tony Logan
The Men’s Soccer team hopes to rebound tonight at Duke after being upset Tuesday night by George mason 2-0. The Terps are 2-0-1 in the always tough ACC. The #1 Field Hockey team faces #3 UVA at 4PN at the Complex at College Park, hoping to remain unbeaten.
This is always a great event, one I really look forward to. The 2009 HOF class includes Desmond Armstrong from the 84 Soccer team, placekicker Dale Castro, Conrad Hemphill from the 54 Baseball team, Johnny Holliday, Katie Kaufmann (96 Field Hockey), 5 time NCAA Coach and a guest on Terp talk last night–Missy Meharg, and C Rennie Smith(55 Lacrosse). Congrats to these great Terrapins!!!
According to terrapintimes.com Alex Kirk after official visits to New Mexico and Arizona, has said the only school he would still visit would be Maryland. perhaps a longshot but still in the mix. A new big man emerged on Maryland’s radar today–Stefan Nastic a Serbian playing in Canada. Nastic is 6’11 and weighs 220 and has begun to receive US interest including the Terps, as terrapintimes.com reports.
