The next great recruit out of Baltimore, was all but locked up for Kentucky a week ago. But now according to terrapintimes.com, it seems his advisors and friends are making a push for him staying in the area. The Lake Clifton guard has had a great meeting with Coach Williams so we will keep a close eye on this .

Arizona– Jarrid Famous wants out of South Florida, according to zagsblog.com. It seems Coach Stan Heath forgot to tell the 6’11” Famous that Byron Samuels, the coach who recruited him is gone. Remember this the same Stan Heath who stole Gus Gilchrist from the … Read More »

Well he is finally here. Matt wieters joins the other “future Orioles” this Friday night at Camden Yards. The lineup is starting to have the look that might bring people back to the yard. Certainly the outfield seems set for 5 years with Markakis, Jones, and Reimhold. The only weak spots left are shortstop and DH. I can’t wait to see Mr Wieters. All the hype has to mean something!!!

Stan Van Gundy demanded that Dwight Howard got the ball in Overtime last night and he reponded with a 10 point explosion. LeBron is just playing too many minutes with way too much demand on him. Though he hit an incredible 3 to keep the game close, his last second 40 footer never had a chance.  Colin Cowherd got this series right when he said Cleveland was way overrated. Mike Brown must summon stronger performances from the rest of the … Read More »

Ba Ba Ba Billups was incredible last night playing 42 minutes with 0 turnovers, that’s right 0. The Lakers are stinking out the joint, for the time being. But, the Nuggets might be able to win at home without a great performance from Melo, but not on the road. Carmelo is not himself playing on a sore ankle and this series is just too rapid fire to recover. Therefore the Lakers, despite playing uninpired , watching Kobe  basketball, are in … Read More »

Hats off to Kelly Amonte Hiller for leading her Wildcats to their 5th consecutive NCAA Championship. But the dream match up never occurred. What happened? This was not the Terrapin team I saw throughout the year. North Carolina was not really in Maryland’s league. That being said, the Lady Terps just seemed flat. Sometimes an undefeated team is taken out of it game by trailing late, but the Terps battled from behind often through the year displaying a swagger that … Read More »
