In the irony of ironies, Duke’s defeat of UVA inthe Acc Torney could lead the Terps into the dance, whereas now they sit on the bubble. Maryland’s early season win over the Blue Devils will probably pay dividends and jolt the Terps into the field of NCAA tourney field of 16. First is a mandatory win over Yale on the road.

Check out zagsblog for the latest on Lance. He show no leaning or favorite team but despite the Maryland naysayers from New York, my hunch is that he is waiting to see if the NBA rejects Greivis. Just remember , Lance never eliminated the Terps. I am not obsessed with Lance, except everywhere I go that’s all people ask about. That was of course until Terrence Ross verbally committed.
After being thoroughly outplayed the first 2 periods, the Washington Capitals got a wake up call and totally dominated the Rangers in the 3rd, capped off by a goal from the ancient Sergei Federov. The Rangers never threatened in the entire period and now they can pack it in for the season. Next up for the Caps: Mr Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penquins.
