Yes Eastern Michigan’s ability to move the ball bothered me but th Terps were able to utilize all of their offensive weapons in a relatively eay win. Obi finally escaped the field goal bagel, hitting on 3. Josh Portis looked sharp in his stint and as usual darrius was superb. So the Terps end the out of conference segment 3-1. Comcast reported tonight that Maryland legend #3 Juan Dixon has worked out for the Wizards within the past few days. Why? Because Gilbert has done it again. This time after signing a 6 year $111 million contract, Gilbert had a thorough knee surgery and will be out through mid-January.So will the Wizards turn to the Terrapin great to save the day. I find it almost amusing that the Bullets face the same problems after last year’s disaster.
Despite missing all of his field goal attempts so far this year, no one has stepped up to take the job away from Obi. Hopefully, the turnaround will come this Saturday.
