In an interview, this week Maryland Men’s soccer coach Sasho Cirovski (link on bottom of page) said “The first Friday of the academic year is also known as one of the best nights in college soccer.” Friday night all eyes of the college soccer world will be on Ludwig field where the 6th ranked Maryland Terrapins take on #15 UCLA. In front of what is expected to be a record crowd.

QUARTERBACK (2): Joe Flacco, Ryan Mallett.

For the past seven years, the Ravens have kept only two quarterbacks heading into the regular season. That streak won’t end this season, even though Flacco has yet to practice because of a back injury.
