Continue to get no respect. Maryland has now won 4 games in a row on the road, with 2 showdown road games with Northwestern and Wisconsin awaiting. I guess that will be our national judgment day.

The new rankings come out today but with the likes of Big Ten guru, Mike DeCourcy continuing to diss us do  not expect any rapid move forward.

Once again, the Maryland women’s basketball team exploded in one spurt of almost incomprehensibly good play before resting on their superior talent to cruise past another Big Ten foe opening the second half of the conference season with a 100-81 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes in front of an announced crowd of 7,988 at the Xfinity Center in College Park. No wall today for the freshman–Justin Jackson was spectacular–28 points ( inc 5-5 on treys) and 10 rebounds

Huerter 19 points on 7-10 shooting

Cowant bounced back after a sluggish startto help lead the way down the wire

and of course Memo was well Melo=—13 points , 9 assists,  7 rebounds–some great no looks to the Bigs

For the first time in five games, the Maryland women’s basketball team dominated a weak Big Ten opponent displaying their full capabilities dismantling a young and undersized Illinois squad 94-49 in Champaign Thursday night.
