I only got to see Arnold Palmer live one time. it was at a charity exhibition match at Pine Ridge w Jack Nicklaus in the early 1960’s. I remember very little of the round except it was extremely good natured fun. Could it be that Carol Mann might have played a few holes with them? What has happened to this team. How do you lose 6 of 8 at home. The Red Sox are an excellent team but the O’s just won 2 out of 3 in Boston.

The Orioles are the pursuer trailing Detroit by a game for the 2rd wild card spot.

Our ace Chris Tillman was horrible tonight –like he was throwing batting practice.

It’s lucky Trey Mancini was in the lineup or else it would have been a shut out.

Another miserable home game before a 55% empty house, as the Oriole fans had to endure another easy Red Sox victory in their house.

So the O’s now hold the 2nd wild card spot by a tiny thread. 10 games left–you would have to think no less then 7-3 will be necessary for the O’s to secure a spot in the tournament.

2-5 at home in the most important stretch of the season is unthinkable.

Can’t blame Ubaldo for this … Read More »

Porcello dominates the O’s again 5-2. Great pitching usually bests great hitting. Bundy ineffective again.

Gausman, Gallardo (OH NO) and Tillman pitch the next 3 games for the O’s

Red Sox have a 4 game lead over the O’s. To have any shot at the pennant the O’s must win 2 of the next 3 games.

Holy Cow–What a game!! No this is not anything like last years UCF squad. They went toe to toe with Maryland yet fell short. it just doesn’t get more exciting.

Worrisome note—injuries? Perry Hills (shoulder), DJ Moore, Roman Braglio and many more left the games at various times. However, 2 weeks until next game.

Disappointment–Adam Greene in his 2 missed FGs.
