My take——-From the 1st time I saw Diamond projected in the mock drafts as a 1st round pick, I figured he was gone. Just too much money involved. Painful —as a big Jordan Spieth fan it was brutal to watch his collapse, but it seemed to me he was never on his game of the tee throughout the period in which he lead the Masters. His ability to scramble after poor drives was amazing but he just ran out of luck.
