I really thought this game was lost after the Redskins failed to convert a TD from a first and goal from the 1. Any way you look at it DC should have been up 16-0. Might have made a difference. Now Danny has to decide if he will pay Kirk Cousins, who had a great year. RG III said his goodbyes today. Looking forward to playing the Skins at M&T next year.
I was cold watching this game in my living room. It was a pleasure to hear all the kudos for the play of Stefon Diggs. No excuses for Blair Walsh, he just shanked it. He may as well move on.
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 19 points, Brionna Jones had 15 points and 11 rebounds and No. 8 Maryland rolled past Iowa in a 76-56 win on Sunday.
Kristen Confroy added 11 points, including nine from beyond the arc, and the Terrapins forced 16 turnovers to snap Iowa’s 25-game home winning streak in Maryland coach Brenda Frese‘s return to her home state.

Remember, this game was close only because 2 front ends of a 1 and 1 were missed down the wire.
We are running out of superlatives to describe the play of Melo Trimble. His last second shot was just one of so many daggers he has tossed in so far brief career at Maryland.
Carter wound up with a quiet 14 points and led the Terps with 11 rebounds

After a Pittsburgh interception with 1:50 remaining, the game looked locked up — Cincinnati’s first playoff win since 1990 — right up until Jeremy Hill fumbled the ball on Cincinnati’s first carry after the turnover. Ben Roethlisberger, who had exited the game earlier with a shoulder injury (caused by Burfict — which is why he stayed in the game; he’s a stud on the field), then returned, needing at least 50 yards to get his Steelers in position for a … Read More »

Senior center Malina Howard led the Terrapins with 15 points on 7-of-7 shooting as the No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball team breezed past Nebraska, 89-50, Thursday evening in the XFINITY Center.
“I was really excited by our response coming off our last game,” head coach Brenda Frese said. “We were really ready to go from the first tip. I thought it showed great character. When you look across the board in terms of how we defended, … Read More »
Maryland men’s lacrosse head coach John Tillman announced Thursday that Kevin Conry has been promoted to associate head coach. Conry has led Maryland’s defensive units to top-10 national rankings in each of his first three years at Maryland.
“Coach Conry has played a vital role in our program’s development over the last three seasons and he is more than deserving of this promotion,” Tillman said. “His immense knowledge and experience will continue to pay dividends … Read More »
