The Big Ten Conference has announced the Maryland-Penn State football game will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 24. Television platform designation will be announced at a later date.

Set to be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md., the game will mark the second meeting between Maryland and Penn State as Big Ten foes. The Terps won the inaugural meeting last season, 20-19, on a game-winning field goal by Brad Craddock.

Sophomore George Campbell racked up a hat trick as the No. 25 Maryland men’s soccer team rallied from two goals down to defeat Penn State, 4-3, Friday night in Big Ten Conference action.

The Terps (6-3-3, 2-1-2 B1G) scored three unanswered goals, including two in the first half, to tie the game at the break. The win was head coach Sasho Cirovski’s 350th at the helm of the storied Maryland men’s soccer program.

It was the Coach’s son Bill Haas who defeated Sang-Moon Bae in the final match 2 and 0 to secure the Cup.

Jordan Spieth was defeated by Marc Leishman  and Jason Day went 0-4-1 losing 3 and2 to Zach Johnson.

The USA is now 9-1-1 in the competition.

Golf

One of the most unusual feelings I have had watching a Terrapin football game occurred today.

As a 33 point, there was no way I expected a win today. But then came the first 2 series of the the day. 3 and out for OSU and then a wide open TD reception for DJ Moore on an underthrown pass from Perry.

After a few minutes form set in and OSU jumped to a 21-7 lead.
