The awards and honors for Maryland women’s lacrosse star junior midfielder Taylor Cummings continue to accumulate. On June 5th, Cummings won her second consecutive Honda Sports Award for women’s lacrosse. She joins Caitlyn McFadden Phipps and Jen Adams as one of three Terrapins to win the award in lacrosse which has been presented since 2000-2001.

It’s international day here at Terp Talk as we report on some Maryland graduates who will take to the pitch this week in international competitions in field hockey and women’s soccer. Two Terrapins will play for Team USA in the Hockey World League semi-final in Valencia, Spain and one will compete for the Colombian National Team in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
