I never met Stuart Scott but it sure feels like I knew him. I can’t even guess how many nights I watched him at 11PM on Sportscenter. Like every sports fan, I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of his passing on Sunday. I will always remember his friendly banter with Scot Van Pelt over their respective universities. Tar Heel nation lost one of its greatest members.
