The ninth-ranked Maryland women’s basketball team beat a tough Ohio State squad, 87-78, Monday night at XFINITY Center in the Terrapins’ first conference game as a member of the Big Ten.

Sophomore Brionna Jones had a career night to lead the Terps (10-2, 1-0 B1G) with 23 points, a career-high 14 rebounds and a career-best four blocks. Imagine if the Ravens played their home games in Philadelphia, the Dolphins played in West Palm, etc. It took me 1 hr 15 minutes with no traffic to travel from the heart of San Francisco to Santa Clara where the game was played. Ridiculous.

Now for the stadium: Just absolutely incredible–In the lower deck food stands surround 1/2 of the stadium while the home side actually has a club like atmosphere that is accessible from the lower deck. The entire … Read More »

Maryland Football

Let’s look at the positives from this game.

Will Likely tied the bowl record with a 100 yard kickoff return.

Minus a blocked punt, Nate Renfro had a great day punting the ball.

Melo was 2-13 from the field, Dez 5-14 with 7 turnovers, Jake had but 4 points, the team had 21 turnovers and yet Maryland found a way to win.
Why, clutch free throws by Melo, big time pressure shots by Dez, and a 52-36 rebound edge for the Terps. THIS WAS A HUGE WIN FOR MARYLAND.

What an incredible day for the Ravens.

I guess it’s only fitting that the Ravens head to Pittsburgh

I NEVER thought San Diego would lose today but not only did they lose –they were dominated

One of the great Ravens moments was watching the final seconds of San Diego’s implosion with 90% of the remaining crowd watching

Things were a disaster until Torrey made an incredible catch of an under thrown 53 yard Flacco pass

Once again 1st and goal … Read More »

Home— Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Road— three divisional foes along with the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, St. Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins.

Much more difficult schedule then this year

It seems like Miami on the road is a fixture

I believe next year we owe the Chiefs a standing Ovation
