Now out of football, former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice joked about experiencing what he called “the excitement of my life right now” on Thursday, when he hit the Pick 6 at Del Mar in Southern California, winning $100,796.20.

The University of Maryland will be featured on a pair of ‘Big Monday’ games during the 2013-14 season announced today by ESPN.

Maryland, which finished 25-13 and advanced to the NIT Final Four last season, will be at Virginia on February 10 at 7 p.m. The Terps will host Syracuse on February 24 at 7 p.m. at Comcast Center.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – University of Maryland wrestling head coach Kerry McCoy announced the addition of four-time NCAA All-American and 2004 NCAA runner-up Tyrone Lewis as an assistant coach for the Terps on Thursday.

Lewis, a native of El Reno, Okla., arrives in College Park after spending two seasons as a volunteer assistant at Oklahoma. Prior to his two-year stint in Norman, Lewis served as an assistant coach at Oklahoma State for three seasons.
