Eight players from Alabama’s 2011 team were NFL draftees — including four of the first 25 picks — but the Tide are yet favored to become the first repeat champion in the short history of the BCS. Notre Dame also had big holes to fill. Five play- ers with a combined 177 starts graduated to the NFL, DE Aaron Lynch defected, and CB Lo Wood was lost for the season in August, impoverishing a secondary with no returning starters. However, … Read More »
I can’t deny how sorry I was to have missed this game. TV coverage was great however.
The closing dance and final lap was really specially. Thank heavens CBS stayed with the coverage post game.
Anquan Boldin was unbelievable today 5 catches for 145 yards. Have we been missing on this target?
2 fumbles by Ray Rice were unbelievable. … Read More »
No RG3 at Cleveland. No Chip Kelly. Good enough for me.
I know that RGIII is the Franchise guy but it was obvious he was not at full strength. His throws that he always makes were not on the money. He limped after being tackled. How can you risk the franchise guy in his rookie year.
Russell Wilson of NC State and Wisconsin was the only rookie QB to win Sunday. He reminds you of RG3 although not nearly as good in passing. Pete Carroll handles his guy much better then … Read More »

I had a chance to talk with Coach Wednesday night at St Frances. Turgeon was confident–he said he felt some really great things about this squad. That being said, I never would have believed that the Terps could put 94 on the board without Nick.

With the addition of Melo Trimble and Roddy Peters many experts do not believe the hunt remains for St Joe’s Phil Booth and St Frances’ Dwayne Morgan. After watching these 2 last night, there is a talent there is very special. Turgeon has always proved he is not scared to play his 5 best players no matter what position. My gut feel is that he wants both in the worst way.
