Weave can indicate a stalling method to keep a game close
In this particular game the weave continued as South Carolina State hopelessly trailed in the contest. It was an unusual strategy . I guess if the opponent hit every shot it could have been close. Anyway Mayland seemed to be lulled into the boredom of the game.

Senior long pole Jesse Bernhardt headlines a group of seven Maryland men’s lacrosse players that were named to the annual Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook preseason All-America teams.
Bernhardt earned a first team selection, while senior midfielder John Haus and sophomore defender Goran Murray were second team honorees. Despite a valiant comeback, the No. 2 Maryland men’s soccer team fell in penalty kicks after an epic 4-4 tie against No. 3 Georgetown in the semifinals of the 2012 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship Friday.
