 In a battle of two perennial college soccer powers, the No. 6 Maryland men’s soccer team drew with No. 11 UCLA 2-2 on an energy-fueled Friday night at Ludwig Field.

The first 15 minutes were fast paced, with UCLA’s Reed Wiliams opening the scoring. Williams slotted the ball past Maryland keeper Keith Cardona after a flick-on header from Ryan Hollingshead in the ninth minute.
