Osi Umenyiora the disgruntled NY Giant—an answer but highly doubtful a trade could be worked out. Also, would cost way too much and would probably interfere with Rice’s negotiations.

Citing the desire to spend more time with his family, the Commish informed our Mayor Wednesday that this would be his final year. What a tremendous job he has done and his search for a replacement will be a difficult one. Commissioner Bealefeld has also been at the forefront of the growth of lacrosse in the city, a role I hope he will not relinquish.

Some observations of an incredible but losing effort from the Caps:
Goalie Braden Holtby was off the charts spectacular. Though I heard the post game guys on the radio saying that overall the Caps had more chances, it just seemed to me that the Rangers were just able to fire away especially in OT.

Charlie Haslup struck out a career-high seven and faced just one over the minimum in seven scoreless innings to lead Maryland to a 1-0 victory over Norfolk State Tuesday evening.
