My take on the Ravens game on Sunday and the Flacco-Reed situation
What hurts the most about this game is my concern over Sean Mosley’s ankle injury. He had playing so well of late yet in every press conference Turgeon speaks about Sean’s ankle. Knowing Sean he would play no matter what against Temple but at this point is it not wise to sit him, and give him 8 days rest for Duke.
Padgett, Pankey and Len were pummeled by the FSU bigs tonight. Unfortunately it is becoming a pattern on the … Read More »
I usually hate the No Respect game but dammit I am confounded how the ESPN geniuses are giving the Ravens no chance. Maybe the Ravens shouldn’t even bother to show up on Sunday. The Ravens are a 7 1/2 point underdog? Have they ever been a 7 point underdog in the past few years?

Lynetta Kizer had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Terrapins (17-1, 4-1) in her first double-double of the season. Alicia DeVaughn added nine points and her and Tianna Hawkins each added nine rebounds. But the Terrapins outdid the ACC’s best defense by holding the Cavaliers to 39 percent shooting and finishing … Read More »

Brian Stewart, a former assistant with four NFL teams who oversaw the Dallas Cowboys’ defense under Wade Phillips, is expected to be introduced as Maryland’s defensive coordinator as soon as Tuesday, according to two sources. Stewart, who spent the past two seasons as the University of Houston’s defensive coordinator, is expected in College Park on Tuesday and — barring unforeseen circumstances is scheduled to be introduced to the media.
Maryland would not confirm … Read More »
Baltimore is facing a challenge that is statistically unlike anything it has seen this year. Perhaps the best blueprint for beating the Patriots’ pass offense was showcased by the Pittsburgh Steelersin Week 8, when they played a lot of press coverage and stayed in nickel even when the Patriots put three tight ends on the field. They held Brady to just 198 passing yards and sacked him three times.
Surprisingly, the two teams that had the best games against New … Read More »
